New blog, new (blogging) start. Or prehaps that only works with New year, new you. I must admit I can’t say I’m a blogging virgin, and these first posts are always the grinding your teeth, screwing up bits of paper ones. It’s important not to be too smiley and cheesy-“Hi! Welcome to my blog!”, although I’m a bubbly person. Then again, diving right in at the deep end with a regular post seems a little too impersonal. And so, I’ll make it brief and not bore you with my life history, right down to my favourite page of my favourite book, but I’ll just finish with a quote from the fabulous Audrey Hepburn. Yes, I do love clothes, fashion and beauty but it is very important to hold the sentiment that Hepburn talks of:
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”
— Audrey Hepburn
And with that I’ll sign off and say stick around, keep stylish and stay cultured.
